night sleigh ride every winter week at Okontoe
Sleigh Rides on the famous Gunflint Trail, north
of Grand Marais.
Cap and Dan, the 2000-pound Belgians pull the
sleigh through the woods on a 45-minute ride
highlighted by a stop at the Kissin' Tree and
completed with homemade cocoa at the hundred-year
old log lodge. Wintry nights are gorgeous in
the woods with snow-capped pines, big white flakes
of snow softly falling or crystal clear nights
with countless stars. Perhaps you will even catch
the Northern Lights dancing across the sky!
