North Shore State Parks
Every Minnesota vacation should include a stop at state parks. The eight state parks are jewels along the North Shore - each showcasing some of the best land, rivers, mountains, cliffs, shoreline and forests of the area.
And they are incredibly accessible. Stop by to stretch your legs and you can cross a footbridge over a river, spend an hour and you can explore Lake Superior's shoreline or hike to a gorge, spend half a day and you snowshoe or ski or attend a naturalist program.
